I don't bank with bmo but i'm sure bmo sees you as new account which is why all your checks are being put on hold Any new bank you go to would have the same hold issues For zelle, likely your token is still attached to bank of the west in the zelle system even though there is no deposit account attached to it. Two bill payments to at least two different payees of at least $50 each through bmo online banking or bmo mobile banking

Once the transfers are complete, bmo—for whatever reason—reschedules the next round of transfers to the 28th of the upcoming month One thing that hasn't changed A telephone/online banking password registration or reset cannot be performed within 30 days of a debit card pin reset
